New High Wycombe Dojo Opening in June!

We are excited to announce that from the 9th June, Seido Karate will be running a new programme of classes at Millbrook School in High Wycombe. This fantastic venue gives us new access to an excellent range of resources including two training halls and a swimming pool. There is also a large free car park on site and a cafe for parents, visitors and students of the dojo. The new dojo at Millbrook School will be called "Seido High Wycombe" and will offer a range of classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for both juniors and adults. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the opening of our dojo at Tylers Green. Since it was opened by "Senpai" Stuart in 1991, it has gone from strength to strength and now runs more classes than ever. To help celebrate both its anniversary and its success, we are holding a special youth tournament and demonstration on the 5th December at the Tylers Green village hall. The event will include a kata tournament (open to all grades) and a points sparring tournament (for green belts and above). We would like to encourage all junior students from across the Bucks area to take part. It will be a great opportunity for them to show off their skills, get involved in a competition, and also to meet other Seido students from the area.…

Now the school holidays are over, we're excited to be introducing an extended schedule of classes across the Bucks dojos. Our new schedule includes two additional classes. There is a new dedicated green belt class at Tylers Green on Sunday morning at 9.30am. Over the school holiday, our schedule of classes will be updated to allow our younger students to continue training over the summer and also give our less young students a chance to enjoy a break. Please check out HERE the 2021 Summer Schedule to see what classes are available and when breaks are scheduled. Junior/ youth classes at Fairford Leys, Little Missenden and Great Kingshill will pause over the summer. Students from these dojos are encouraged to train at either Tylers Green, Lacey Green or Micklefield where juniors are invited to join the adult and general classes. We are delighted to confirm arrangements for our Beach Training event on 3rd July at Shell Bay. Please note that due to current restrictions we are unable to organise anything beyond karate training that is classified as an official sport. As a result, the schedule for the day has been updated and the official event will finish at 12.30. Of course, there will still be the opportunity afterwards for people to stay on the beach in their own family or household groups. Please see the attached for full information...
